Jeremy Schmitz
We chose Jeremy to act as the artist and lip sync the song. He was, we felt, the best choice as he is very confident and able to perform comfortably, also because he fits the image better than any person our age we could have chosen as because he is slightly older, he fits the identity of the voice on the song well.






Kathy Evans
Kathy is one of the two main characters in our narrative for the music video. we chose her because she is an enthusiastic lip syncer and already knew the song, but also personality wise she fit with the fun narrative. 






Katriya Ross
As the other character for the narrative we chose Katriya as she is friends with Kathy and so the natural friendship would come across on camera instead of looking forced. Also she had the kind of look and attitude that I felt was typical of girls within the genre and who feature in music videos-fun and also mysterious.

Filming issues

Throughout the process of filming, Natalie and I have encountered one problem in particular; finding trustworthy actors. On all four of the days we have intended to film, the guy that we have asked to lip sync for us has always pulled out with little to no prior notice, leaving us with no footage of the artist, a crucial element of a music video. to solve this problem as soon as possible, we are trying to contact everyone we know to find someone suitable and reliable to film with us.

In addition, the original intention to film much of the lip syncing was to film along the Southbank, however, after visiting it before filming to find perfect locations to film, I realised that it would be too loud to pick up the track we would play as it is a popular tourist site. to avoid this problem we will probably film inside somewhere that has appropriate backgrounds-for example not a homely wall papered wall. 

Re-filming shot sheet

When we first planned to film for our music video, unfortunately nothing went to plan-our actors had cancelled on us the night before and so we had to quickly find some other people to take part in the filming. Due to this, the filming session was not incredible successful as all of our planning was based on a group of boys, however we are now using two girls and so many of the shots were spontaneous and not planned through. When I came to edit this footage, I found that there was nowhere near enough footage to edit into a complete music video and so Natalie and I have organised to re-film much of what we had already done to support our slight change in narrative.

Risk Assessment

Throughout our time filming, we will more than likely encounter several risks and so specific action should be taken to avoid these risks.

Cars travelling along busy roads on location-the precaution of crossing the road when safe is obvious, however we would also need to ensure the road is clear of traffic before filming in or by the road.

Crowds of people-they could interrupt our shots and could knock over our equipment set up and so to prevent this, we should film in quiet, less crowded places and to use up as little space as possible to ensure we are not in the way of others.

Wires- the wires for speakers and even lighting could be a risk as someone could trip, so to reduce this risk we should tape the wires to the ground and make others aware of them.

Trains entering and leaving the station-as some filming is taking place in the underground, we would need to be careful about where we choose to film-not too close to the tracks and away from crowds of people so our equipment does not get damaged.

Storyboard

This is my storyboard showing my idea of a group of friends going out, starting with getting ready, then going to a bar and following each individual home, finding them collapsed sleeping in different places with the singer waking up the next morning recalling their night before. the chorus will be made up of a montage of the group of friends singing along, cutting quickly between each person.
